Meet the Bemis Fall 2021 Artists-in-Residence and learn about their artistic practices and influences in this virtual PechaKucha-style program! Artists include Samar Al Summary (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), Maya Dunietz + David Lemoine, Sound Art + Experimental Music Artists-in-Residence (Tel Aviv, Israel), Carmina Escobar (Mexico City, Mexico), Donté K. Hayes (Kennesaw, GA / Cliffwood, NJ), Mimi Laquidara (Rosario, Argentina), Carly Mandel (Brooklyn, NY), Joaquin Segura (Mexico City, Mexico), Anthony Peyton Young (Charleston, WV / Boston, MA), and Erin M. Riley, Alumni Artist-in-Residence (Brooklyn, NY).
Following the ARTalks, Maya Dunietz + David Lemoine and Carmina Escobar will perform at LOW END, Bemis Center’s music venue, starting at 9 PM CT.

COVID Safety Policy
To ensure Bemis Center is providing a safe environment for everyone, the following policies are in place:
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test is required for all visitors 12 and over. Visitors who are unable to be or who are not fully vaccinated must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Face Coverings Indoors
A face covering is required for all visitors, ages 2–11 when indoors. Face coverings are encouraged for attendees 12 and over when not eating or drinking indoors.
