Open House / Open Studios

Visit with our current artists-in-residence to see their studios, view their works-in-progress, and discuss art, life, and their Bemis residency experience. Enjoy curator-led tours of our current exhibitions and participate in a hands-on, all-ages art activity.

Open House / Open Studios guests leave with a better understanding of the myriad of ways Bemis Center supports today’s artists and why artists across the country and from around the world visit Bemis to produce the art of tomorrow right here in Omaha.

12–4 PM: Explore Artists’ Studios
12–4 PM: Screenings by Christine Yerie Lee (5th Floor, every half hour)
12:22–3:22 PM: Performances by Armando Rosales-Rivero, Carlos Rosales-Silva, and Christine Yerie Lee (5th Floor, every half hour)
2–4 PM: All-Ages Art Activity: Paper Weaving with Joelle Wellansa Sandfort (1st Floor, Presentation Space)
3 PM: Curator-led Exhibition Tour with Rachel Adams, Chief Curator and Director of Programs
4 PM: Live @ LOW END | WEATHERING
