Katja Zimmer

Katja Zimmer (b. 2003, San Diego, CA) is an artist whose practice explores mass production, assimilation, queerness, surveillance, and text. They often use the editioning process common in printmaking to make modular works that are open to reassembly. Zimmer was a 2024 resident at the Yale Norfolk School of Art and graduated from the University of California, Davis with a BA in Asian American Studies and Art Studio in 2025. Alongside their studio practice, they continue their research on Filipinx California, secondary migration, and RMOs (radicalized mundane objects). Zimmer also creates prints and zines under the moniker TIGER MILF. They are a frequent collaborator with the risograph press Burn All Books.
