Sound Art + Experimental Music
Juanjosé Rivas
Juanjosé Rivas is a sound and visual artist who uses different techniques to make a speech through translation error, obstruction, and glitches in artistic languages. He uses resources and technology as tools for change. During his residence at Bemis, Rivas will continue working on his Plexus series, an alphabet where each letter is a sound action (performance) based on different body movements. Rivas will present a new performance of this series at LOW END on February 27.
