About This Performance
Set within a field of artificial grass, gates open and fans rumble beside a custom-built computer and three sets of low, automatic metal gates. Chrome radiator piping connects these nodes to form a network.
A fan blows, the grass rustles, loose-leaf papers are pulled along the blades, tangling some sequence that once seemed to order them. The fan stops, a gate opens. A low mumble emerges from behind a fan. A warm beam of light swings across the grass, marking a cycle complete.
