Open House / Open Studios
Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts
One of the most anticipated events at Bemis Center each season, Open House / Open Studios encourages visitors to explore various aspects of art-making on-site: Participate in a free, hands-on art activity and visit with current artists-in-residence to see their studios, view their works-in-progress, and discuss art, life, and their Bemis residency experience.
Schedule
11 AM: Exhibition galleries open
12–1 PM: A must-see special hour of ARTalks with current artists-in-residence in Bemis’s Presentation Space gallery
1–3 PM: All-ages art activity | Visual storytelling through collage with artist Josh Powell in Bemis's Okada Sculpture & Ceramics Facility
1–4 PM: Open studios | View artists' studios and works-in-progress on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors, and at LOW END
5 PM: Exhibition galleries close
