Join Kristopher Stahr, Nebraska Game & Parks Commission's Aquatic Invasive Species Manager, as he speaks about aquatic invasive species in our state. Nebraska sits at the crossroads of the largely uninvaded Western United States and the much more impacted Eastern United States. Focusing on the current aquatic invasive species threats in Nebraska, learn about the impacts they cause and the responses being undertaken to prevent and stop these invaders in our waters. Also learn how the public can help contain these invasive species, including those not yet found in Nebraska but that pose a significant future threat.
Participants are welcome to bring their lunch; Bemis Center will provide drinks.
Admission is free; RSVPs are encouraged.
