Live @ LOW END | Gabie Strong

Strong holds degrees in art and architecture from UC Irvine, Sci-Arc, and UCLA. She teaches undergraduate and graduate level art, with emphasis on creating embodied placemaking and building community arts. A dedicated DIY arts organizer, Strong has collaborated with many artists and collectives to build and promote community arts including Kchung Radio, KBLT pirate radio, and the early riot grrrl movement. She founded the micro-imprint Crystalline Morphologies, dedicated to releasing experimental music by underrepresented women, trans and gender non-conforming artists.

Her work has been presented by Lines of Flight NZ, No Fun, Dragon’s Eye Recordings, EPOCH Gallery, The Tapeworm, LAMOA DS#3 at Commonwealth & Council, LAND AND SEA OAKLAND+BAMPFA, The UCLA Hammer Museum, Torrance Art Museum, Human Resources LA, High Desert Test Sites, LACMA, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Jabberjaw, and MOCA, amongst others. Strong recently participated in an experimental music recording residency at The Space Program SF with her musical partner Christopher Reid Martin. They will be releasing this work under the initialism CGRSM in the Fall of 2026. Strong currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
