Maya Jeffereis has performed and exhibited in the College Art Association Annual Conference in Chicago, Susan Inglett Gallery, Anthology Film Archives, Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami, Flux Factory and Utah Museum of Fine Arts. She is a recipient of the 2008 Italo Scanga Scholarship, the 2012 Cisneros Initiative for Latin American Art for SOMA Summer in Mexico City, 2012 Luetz/Riedel Fellowship for study at Universität der Künste in Berlin and the 2013 Beta-Local Walking Seminar in Puerto Rico. She received her MFA from Hunter College in Performance, Video and Installation, Post-Baccalaureate studies in Performance Art at School of the Art Institute of Chicago, BFA in Painting & Drawing and BA in Classics from University of Washington in Seattle.
