Jasmina Tumbas, Assistant Professor, Department of Global Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University at Buffalo, will examine questions of migration in contemporary art, with an emphasis on moments of emancipatory resistance against multiple forms of violence tied to the supremacy of citizenship and authoritarian capitalism.
