Caleb Coppock

Magnetic tape tangled in branches. Metallic paint, spilled and sun-cracked. Quiet artifacts – embedded with intricate systems, marks, sounds, and history. Soft Rot (remix) explores the real space where the human-made and the natural blend – where matter shreds, decomposes, mixes and remixes. Here, found objects and ephemera are the catalysts for abstractions, drawings, patterns, forms and compositions.

About the Artist:
For the past decade Caleb Coppock has worked as an art director, designer, and animator for a variety of national and international clients. Coppock earned a BFA in sculpture and new media from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2007. Currently living in Omaha with his wife, Daphne, he balances his freelance design career with an active studio practice.
