Aaron Storck is an interdisciplinary artist working in a combination of installation, performance, painting, video and writing. Stock assumes the persona of a wizard to navigate the contradictions of contemporary human systems. His theatrical performances use seduction and humor to examine American spirituality, power distribution, wealth and technological achievement.
Aaron Storck received a BFA from the University of Kansas, Lawrence. He has shown extensively in the Kansas City area and has exhibited works in New York City, Chicago, St. Louis and Omaha. In 2010 he was the recipient of an Andy Warhol Foundation Rocket Grant. His works are held in numerous private collections. The artist lives and works in Lawrence, KS.
