Sculpture

Through sculpture, Krueger addresses the convergence of the private and public domains within contemporary society. In A Magic Kingdom Bed, the artist recreates the castle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom on a four-post bed frame, using it as a means to examine how American daily life has become enmeshed with the imagery of the entertainment industry. Krueger earned his BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, CA and an MFA from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. The artist currently lives and works in California.
