Sculpture
Bogan uses nature to create sculptures, relying on the elements to transform his artwork. He combines media such as cement and beeswax and then places them outdoors. Weather conditions affect the surfaces, animals leave impressions and salt impressions occur, all recreating the work in new and unexpected ways. The artist received his BA from Liberal Arts Goddard College, Plainfield, VT and an MFA in Sculpture from Ohio University, Athens, OH.
