  the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts’ First Thursday Art Talk on Februa
 ry 2\, 2012 at 7:00 pm. As always\, Art Talk is free and open to the publi
 c.\n\nGhost of a Dream recreates opulence out of aspirational cultural ite
 ms like spent lottery tickets and romance novels that typically end up in 
 the trash. Matthew Radune has worked on a series of collaborations under t
 he name The Wilding Corporation that explore human ecology\, focusing on t
 he relationships between humans and their natural\, social and built envir
 onments. Eric Zimmerman’s intimate graphite drawings\, sculptures and writ
 ings examine romantic myths and symbols of the American West. \n\n<b>ABOUT
  THE ARTISTS</b>\n<a href='http://www.bemiscenter.org/residency/by_year/20
 12/ghost_of_a_dream.html'>Ghost of a Dream</a> is a collaborative duo comp
 osed of Lauren Was and Adam Eckstrom based in Boxford\, MA. They attended 
 the Rhode Island School of Design where Eckstrom received an MFA in Painti
 ng and Was received an MFA in Sculpture . They have exhibited nationally a
 nd internationally\, including shows in Beijing\, Copenhagen\, Bologna and
  Berlin. Ghost of a Dream has been awarded the Young Masters Prize\, an IA
 AB Residency\, Artist Projects Material Fund from RISD\, Oxbow Fellowship\
 , and a DUMBO Improvement Grant. Their work has been written about in publ
 ications such as Whitewall Magazine\, World of Interiors\, City Weekend Be
 ijing\, The Independent in London\, Global Times Beijing\, Time Out and In
 tersection Magazine.\n\n<a href='http://www.bemiscenter.org/residency/by_y
 ear/2012/matthew_radune.html'>Matthew Radune</a> is an architect\, artist 
 and DJ based in Brooklyn\, NY. Radune received a BA in Environmental Studi
 es from Oberlin College in 1999 and an MA in Green Architecture and Urban 
 Planning at Rice University in 2005. His work has been shown nationally an
 d internationally and been written about in Art in America\, Dwell\, Metro
 polis and Mark Magazine.\n\n<a href='http://www.bemiscenter.org/residency/
 by_year/2012/eric_zimmerman.html'>Eric Zimmerman</a> is a artist and write
 r based in Trivoli\, NY. Zimmerman received a BFA from the Cleveland Insti
 tute of Art in 2002 and an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2
 005. Zimmerman’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Art Palace 
 Gallery in Houston\, TX\, The Old Jail Art Center in Albany\, TX and the A
 ustin Museum of Art\, in Austin\, TX and as part of group exhibitions in N
 ew York\, Philadelphia and Chicago. In addition to his studio work\, Zimme
 rman is editor of the contemporary e-journal ...might be good. His critica
