The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts proudly presents the 14th Annual Art Auction and Exhibition, Omaha’s premier celebration of contemporary art. The Opening Reception will take place on Friday, September 21, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, located at 12th and Leavenworth in Omaha, NE. The month-long Auction Exhibition is a precursor to the Bemis Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, the 14th Annual Art Auction Gala on Saturday, October 20. This year, the Bemis Center is combining both the Underground and Gala Auctions into one night and introducing a new digital bidding system. The system will allow guests to track their bids from anywhere, including their smart phones, making it more convenient to find the perfect piece than ever before.
And there will certainly be a lot to choose from.
The Auction Exhibition provides a vast survey of contemporary work, featuring more than 300 pieces in all media from local, national, and international artists. Everything in the Bemis Center’s first floor and UNDERGROUND galleries will be available to view online or to purchase at “buy-it-now” prices beginning September 21.
The 14th Annual Art Auction and Exhibition highlights the generosity and diversity that characterize contemporary art. By celebrating these values, the Auction is an ideal opportunity for the public to directly engage with artists, supporting creativity in a tangible way. All sales are reinvested back into the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, where they go to support exceptional talent all year long.

Auction Admission: For $35 per member or $50 per non-member, guests receive admission to the Silent Auction, dinner and drinks.
Special Reservation:For $85 per member or $100 per non-member, guests receive admission to the LIVE Auction Gallery, access to the VIP Lounge and a reservation to the 14th Annual Art Auction Cocktail Preview on Thursday, October 18. Act quickly, as seats are limited in the Live Auction Gallery.
