Betty Woodman

The ceramic works of Betty Woodman have been featured at the International Ceramic Art Biennial in Faience, Italy, the Olympic Arts Festival in Seoul, South Korea and in Lillehamer, Norway during the winter Olympics. Museums and galleries in the United States and around the world have featured her work in solo and group exhibitions. Woodman is a Professor Emeritus in the Fine Art Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has received numerous awards for her work, starting with a Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship to Florence, Italy in the mid-1960s to The Visionary Award of The American Craft Museum in New York City in 1998. The artist is a member of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art's Executive Advisory Council.
